Champions Lauded For Reducing Toxic
Waste
At the
Statehouse recently, state legislators joined the Toxics Use Reduction
Institute located at UMass Lowell to recognize 2016 Champions of Toxics Use
Reduction. The annual event recognizes outstanding leaders who are making the
commonwealth a safer place to live and work. Locally, the YWCA and Merrimack
Ales were recognized. Pictured, from left, are Geneva Garcia and Jahnarea
