Boy Scout Troop 7 - Visits the State House

On February 24th, I had the pleasure of welcoming Boy Scout Troop 7 of Lowell, to the State House as they worked towards achieving their Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge. To earn this Merit Badge, a Boy Scout must participate in a number of activities and discussions to teach and inspire him about the rights, duties, and obligations of a responsible and active American citizen. The scouts of Troop 7 took a tour of the Massachusetts State House, which fulfilled the Merit Badge requirement of visiting their state capital, and engaged in discussions about our government's history. What a dedicated group of young leaders.
